SYSTEMATIC Name Sophomore CD
November 17, 2002San Francisco Bay Area metallers SYSTEMATIC have set "Pleasure To Burn" as the title for their sophomore CD, due in early 2003 through Elektra Records. The album — the group's first to feature ex-SLAYER drummer Paul Bostaph and former ECHO 3/MAXIMUM PENALTY bassist John Mark Bechtel (a.k.a. Johnny Chow) — is being produced by Howard Benson, who has previously worked with P.O.D., MOTÖRHEAD, SEPULTURA and CRAZY TOWN, among others.
"[The title] is really open to interpretation, and being into good hard rock bands, it kind of has that feel to it!!! So there ya go!!" guitarist Adam Ruppell stated via the band's official web site.
"We also are working on some contests, one being artwork for t-shirts and other shit. So take the album title and come up with some cool shit. You never know where your images could end up. So we will let you know where to send stuff, when to get it in by, and what the reward will be!!!"
